Dr. Rosa, Principal
Welcome to Frank Augustus Miller Middle School!
My name is Dr. Lindsey Rosa, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Frank Augustus Miller Middle School. As I begin my 23rd year in education, I am filled with gratitude and excitement to join the FAMMS community and continue my journey of service to students, staff, and families.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving at every level—elementary, middle, and high school. I began as a Science, Health, and AVID teacher, then stepped into the role of Activities Director before moving into administration. This year marks my 14th year as an administrator and my first year leading FAMMS. I am also a proud product of the Riverside Unified School District, and I feel incredibly fortunate to lead and serve in the very district that laid the foundation for my own educational journey.
My passion for education is rooted in a deep commitment to creating school environments where students are known, supported, and challenged, and where staff feel valued, respected, and empowered. I believe that when students feel safe and connected, they are free to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. I am committed to honoring the strong traditions at FAMMS while fostering new opportunities to build a school culture grounded in excellence, belonging, and joy.
On a personal note, my family and I are proud members of the Riverside community. My husband, Kevin, is a Division I Water Polo Coach at California Baptist University, and both of our children, Brayden (20) and Bailey (19), attended Riverside schools and are now in college. As a parent, I am forever grateful for the incredible educators who poured into my children’s lives. I want every student at FAMMS to have the same outstanding experience, one that makes them feel excited about coming to school, supported by a caring staff, challenged to do their best, and inspired to make a positive difference in the world.
As we begin this school year, I look forward to building strong partnerships with families and continuing the great work that makes FAMMS a place where students thrive. Together, we will ensure that our Macaws soar, academically, socially, and emotionally. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need support navigating your child’s experience.
