🎓 Class of 2026: 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony
We are thrilled to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our promoting Macaws! This milestone marks a significant transition as our students prepare for high school. To ensure a joyful and seamless experience for all families, please review the essential details below.
📅 Event Schedule
- Student Arrival: 8:00 AM (report to 1st period for attendance)
- Guest Seating Opens: 8:10 AM
- Ceremony Begins: 9:00 AM
- Ceremony Concludes: 10:30 AM
- Location: FAMMS Field
🪑 Seating & Viewing
We are prepared for a large turnout with seating for approximately 2,000 guests. To ensure everyone has a great view:
- Personal Chairs: A designated area is available for those who prefer to bring their own seating.
- Umbrellas: If you bring an umbrella for shade, please sit at the back of the seating area to avoid blocking the view of others.
- Balloons: To keep sightlines clear, all balloons must be checked into Room 520 before the ceremony. They can be retrieved once the event concludes.
- Stay Seated: We kindly ask all guests to remain seated during the ceremony so everyone can see their student promote.
🚗 Parking & Accessibility
Parking is limited! We highly encourage carpooling with friends and family.
- Handicapped Parking: Available on the basketball courts (west end of the school near the event) and in both main parking lots.
📸 Capturing the Moment
Don’t worry about missing the perfect shot! We have designated areas for photos:
- On Stage: The stage and its backdrop will remain available for photos immediately following the ceremony for as long as needed.
- The Quad: Several professionally styled photo opportunities will be set up throughout the quad area for family portraits.
