Summer School 2026
Summer School Opportunity at FAMMS
Please be aware that the district is currently finalizing the details for the Summer School program at RUSD Middle Schools. While we are excited to share a general overview below, please keep in mind that these details are subject to change.
RUSD is excited to offer a robust Middle School Summer Program designed to keep incoming 7th and 8th-grade FAMMS students engaged and prepared for the year ahead. This unique experience moves beyond the traditional classroom by blending academic excellence with elite athletic opportunities. Students will focus on mastering essential Math and ELA standards while exploring hands-on Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways. To round out the experience, the program features daily sports camps at California Baptist University (CBU), where students will rotate through soccer, volleyball, swimming, and water polo under the guidance of NCAA Division 1 coaches. To ensure the program is accessible for all families, daily transportation to and from the CBU campus is fully provided.
Below are the details to assist with summer planning:
- Dates: June 3 - July 1, 2026, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Morning Academics is from 8:00 AM - 12:25 PM → Lunch 12:25 - 1:00 PM → Afternoon PRIMETime/CBU Program 1:00 - 5:00 PM
- Juneteenth Holiday is observed on June 19, 2026
