School Site Council

 

What is School Site Council (SSC)?

A site decision-making body comprised of an elected group of people representing staff, parents, and students. 

SSC Responsibilities:

  • Develops the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)
  • Approves the plan, including proposed exenditures, and recommends it to the local governing board for approval
  • Monitors the implementation throughout the year and evaluates the effectiveness of the planned strategies/activities
  • Develops the Comprehensive School Safety Plan
