Calling all FAMMS student artists! The FAMMS PTSA is participating in the National PTA's Reflections Art Program this year. Reflections encourages students to explore the arts. This year's theme is "Accepting Imperfection". There are 6 categories that entries can be submitted to: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Entries are due to the FAMMS Office / FAMMS PTSA by October 16, 2024. All 1st place entries will move on to the next level of the Riverside Council PTA Reflections Program. End of Quarter 1 Grading Day

This is a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 11th for RUSD Middle School students. This is the end of quarter 1 grading day for teachers. Expect Quarter 1 Report Cards home in the mail soon. Be aware that this is a regular school day for all elementary and high school students. Thank you!

Red Ribbon Week 2024

Life is a Movie. Film Drug Free! Red Ribbon Week 2024 is here! Make a commitment to yourself to stay drug-free! On Monday, 10/21 Wear RED, Tuesday, 10/22 Soar above the rest, be drug free! Wear a Superhero shirt today, Wednesday, 10/23 is "Put Drugs to Sleep!", wear Pajamas (no slippers, blankets, or pillows), Thursday, 10/24 Team up against drugs! Wear a sports shirt today! Friday, 10/25 Say BOO to drugs! Wear the colors of Halloween today, orange, purple, green, and black.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters Mentorship Program

Big Brothers, Big Sisters is a mentorship program for kids ages 6 - 16. They match youth one-to-one with a caring mentor. Mentors provide children with emotional and academic support, as well as the opportunity to try new experiences. Big Brothers, Big Sisters is open to youth ages 6 - 16 years old living in Riverside County or San Bernardino County. Youth will participate in two outings each month with their mentor. Wednesday Early Release Day, 12:35 PM

Every Wednesday is Early Release, 12:35 PM. Please be aware that every WEDNESDAY is an early release day for students, school dismisses at 12:35 PM. School buses run accordingly on Wednesday's. The early release day allows for teacher/school planning time. Please mark your calendars and make any necessary transportation or after-school care arrangements. All students must be off campus by 12:55 pm as there is no supervision after this time. FAMMS Teacher of the Year 2024-25, Mrs. Olsen!

A BIG congratulations goes out to Mrs. Olsen, for being selected as the FAMMS "Teacher of the Year!" WAY TO GO, MRS. Olsen! She is an amazing educator who is 100% committed to her students. The students are willing to take risks, put forth their best effort, and go above and beyond what’s expected of them because they know they have Mrs. Olsen's support. Her hard work and dedication to our students is MACAWESOME!!

FAMMS PTSA is Collecting Box Tops!

Miller is a Double World Record Holder!

Guinness has officially declared Miller’s May 20, 2016 World's Largest Square Dance a world record holder! We had 1040 dancers on that day. The event was the culmination of our physical education dance unit. We have also been officially declared by Guinness as a world record holder for our June 1, 2017 World's Largest Tie-Dye Gathering. Miller is a DOUBLE World Record Holder! Way to go Macaws!!

What is the Aeries Portal?

The Aeries Portal allows parents and students to monitor grades, missing assignments, and late work in “real time” from any internet connected device. Aeries should be checked daily to monitor student progress. Please see CLICK HERE for directions to create an account. Contact the Miller office for the required verification code.
