Calling all FAMMS student artists! The FAMMS PTSA is participating in the National PTA's Reflections Art Program this year. Reflections encourages students to explore the arts. This year's theme is "Accepting Imperfection". There are 6 categories that entries can be submitted to: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Entries are due to the FAMMS Office / FAMMS PTSA by October 16, 2024. All 1st place entries will move on to the next level of the Riverside Council PTA Reflections Program. Halloween Dance
On Friday, October 25th, FAMMS ASB will host a Halloween School Dance from 2:30 - 4:30 PM in the gym. Tickets will be sold during lunch on 10/22, 10/23, & 10/24, $5 with ASB Shop Riverside card purchased or $10 without (for those who purchased an ASB card, student ID cards are marked ASB). An event ticket and a signed parent permission slip are required to attend the dance. FUN TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DANCE. Cost: 20 tickets: $10.00 and can be used to purchase pizza, snacks, drinks, and Halloween Treats. Kona Ice is $6-$8 cash at the truck. Wear orange, purple, green, & black today! See you there!

Students may wear their costume to school on Thursday, October 31st, Halloween day. Dress code applies to all costumes worn during the school day. Students MAY NOT wear a mask or full face make-up (staff must be able to see student faces), nothing bloody or gory, NO WEAPONS or LOOK-A-LIKE WEAPONS and no Inflatable Costumes. Costumes must allow students must be able to sit normally at their desk. Happy Halloween!

Big Brothers, Big Sisters Mentorship Program
Big Brothers, Big Sisters is a mentorship program for kids ages 6 - 16. They match youth one-to-one with a caring mentor. Mentors provide children with emotional and academic support, as well as the opportunity to try new experiences. Big Brothers, Big Sisters is open to youth ages 6 - 16 years old living in Riverside County or San Bernardino County. Youth will participate in two outings each month with their mentor. Every Wednesday is Early Release, 12:35 PM. Please be aware that every WEDNESDAY is an early release day for students, school dismisses at 12:35 PM. School buses run accordingly on Wednesday's. The early release day allows for teacher/school planning time. Please mark your calendars and make any necessary transportation or after-school care arrangements. All students must be off campus by 12:55 pm as there is no supervision after this time. World RecordMiller is a Double World Record Holder!

Guinness has officially declared Miller’s May 20, 2016 World's Largest Square Dance a world record holder! We had 1040 dancers on that day. The event was the culmination of our physical education dance unit.  We have also been officially declared by Guinness as a world record holder for our June 1, 2017 World's Largest Tie-Dye Gathering. Miller is a DOUBLE World Record Holder! Way to go Macaws!!

The Aeries Portal allows parents and students to monitor grades, missing assignments, and late work in “real time” from any internet connected device.
